1. Apologies:

2. Matters arising from minutes of last general meeting

4) Business plan update:

Allotments have started.
New brochure for Eglwys Bach to be created, format of the brochure to be discussed at the next meeting.

5) Vandalism:

Decided not to pursue payment from the party responsible for the vandalism, as no guarantee that payment will be received. No addresses have been provided. Family will be banned from hiring the hall in future.

8) Diary Jan/Feb: Santes Dwynwen Disco 29/02/2010 was very good made between £60 and £70.

10) AOB
b) Grant for Wii fit: No result as yet, should hear within a fortnight if grant is successful or not
e) Betty Cook has started cleaning for EB
g) Cleaning cupboard has been purchased for £50. May also require some shelves.

3. Finance update

Balance of bank account discussed and funds available for running of EB.
Electricity costs have increased to £252, mainly due to lighting.
Reminder to switch off all equipment at the mains.
Cheque for £150 sent to Marie Curie

4. Owie Glyn Evening

Raffle ticket sales, 1 book sold so far. 80 event tickets printed 20 on sale at the White Lion, 20 at the Post Office, 20 to be sold on the door and Chris has sold 12.

Meeting on the 31/03/2010 at 6pm to discuss the schedule for the evening.


5. Key Holding

Monday: Roy to open and close
Tuesday: Chris and Ken to open. Suggestion to provide the teachers with a key.
Wednesday: Glenys to open in the morning
Thursday: To check with Dafydd if he can open and close
Friday: Suggestion to provide the co-operative with a key

Liz Webb has a spare key. To draw up a list of key holders and phone numbers, to use in case of problems with opening or closing.

6. Tidy towns

Should find out at the end of the month if money has been allocated to tidy the grass area outside the grounds. A licence will be required from the County Council for the work to be done, the work would also depend on the help of volunteers. Also require low growing shrubs, seasonal plants round the posts.

7. Parc y plant

Nothing heard from Liza in Cardiff regarding questioning the committee for the grant application.

8. AOB

a) Broken toilet seat cover may cost £100 to replace
b) Painting required in the building
c) List of fundraising for charity to be displayed and updated every 12 months
d) 2 disco lights have been purchased
e) To check if money can be obtained from the Tir Tlodion committee towards work planned for the Tidy Towns funding
