2. Matters arising from minutes of last general meeting
5. Second Anniversary concert raised

6. Diary October – Make up Artist visit cost £35, but not many
girls turned up. Suggested to try again in the New Year.
7. a) Inspection by Eric Roberts from RGR was very complimentary
b) Suggestion to stop sending schedules of activities to PJI unless requested
as information is available on the website
c) Youth club numbers 26 last Monday and between 23 and 24 this week. More
visitors due to winter.
3. Finance update
Children in Need funding has been spent. Financial Information handout provided for January – November 2009. KB to return to BT to save money on phone bills. (when present contract ends)
4. Procedures
a) Letter to be sent to the parents
who hired Eglwys Bach where the gent’s toilet door was left with holes
and the terms and conditions of hire were not adhered to. Due to vandalism,
kitchen not in original state, non-removal of waste, smoking indoors, missing
computer key and noise pollution. Bill of £70 to be sent - £50
for supply and fit of new door and £20 for 4 hours cleaning. Addresses
required.
b) Reminder that room hire costs are: £15 for 2/3 hours or £50
for 24 hours
c) Suggestions for keys to be locked away, curfew of 12 o’clock, deposit
for hire, CCTV camera and to check underage drinking in public building/private
function
5. Diary – Dec / Jan
07/01/2010 Thursday - Health Board Expert Patient Programme for Chronic Health Issues, 10:30 till 13:00. If not enough applications are received for the programme by the 16/12/2009, the programme will be cancelled. Schedule is on the website.
No Christmas party for the children due to refusal of Cymorth grant.
6. AOB
a) Parc y Plant-Order Confirmation
– Contract has been processed subject to funding. Power supply back
up will be generators. Cost of skip hire can be reduced or removed if the
rubber matting is removed by a third party. Official order to be signed by
CB. Timescale – Grant went in for the end of November. It will take
1 month to process then forwarded to another panel, Fairshares lottery money.
Results will not be known until January.
b) Newspaper – to include bowls competition results, Christmas tombola,
books sale and website address
c) Nicola’s request for land – cannot be granted due to legal
reasons. Church of Wales address to be provided.
d) Suggestion for permanent fairy lights for special occasions and padlocks
e) Tomos has receipts for bricks for the bins and seat
f) To locate the tombola prizes for the Christmas tombola
g) Buffet for the final of the bowls competition, children to help choose
the food. Trophies and certificates to be awarded
h) Womens Institute request purpose for carol singing donation
i) Saturday night evenings– Quizzes have been requested, to be discussed
in the New Year along with St Dwynwens Day
