1. Apologies:

2. Matters arising from minutes of last general meeting
3. Finance update: as a faulty sealed
battery unit in the oil tank is making it difficult to gauge the amount of
fuel, ‘dipping’ continues to be the best way to do so.
5. All Wales Convention: Good report of the meeting on AWC website so good
PR for EB and money too.
6. Funding applications: CJB not prepared to apply for Cymorth grant for Easter
holidays due to time restraints and query over children’s support.
AOB: how a ‘wii’ works was pointed out to RR
3. Finance update
KGB informed meeting that the finances continue to look good. The building retention is still in the bank account as nothing has been heard from Ellis Williams since the repairs carried out some time ago.
4. Parc Y Plant
The lease is still waiting to be signed by the appropriate parties. The insurance paid by PYP via CNC insurance brokers is being queried by PJI trustees and clerk to Community Council.
5. Local Business Directory
NH read out the letter designed to be circulated to interested parties in Newborough re advertising of small businesses. It was agreed that as costs and effort would be high to ensure that Llangaffo, Newborough and Dwyran were treated fairly, it would be shelved for the time being and feedback to be obtained from committee members for the next meeting.
6. Young Volunteers Group – DofE.
CJB outlined the plans for the carrying out of activities for the above to be funded by Sports Development (via Cymorth grant) and assistance from Conway Centre. All that is required of CNC is volunteer support to be organised at the next general meeting.
7. AOB
(i) A disco to be held at EB at the
end of term on Friday 3rd April for Newborough Primary School to raise school
funds; RR to organise and pay for the hall hire.
(ii) The cookery for men sessions planned by Age Concern to be postponed due
to lack of tutor and local support
(iii) It is proposed that a Male Voice Choir be part of the second year anniversary
of opening of EB; CJB to contact Emlyn re size of stage etc
(iv) CJB to write to PC Alison Williams re grant application made by RR; it
was agreed to wait until next meeting if nothing heard.
