4. Booking Diary

EB has been approached by Education dept for scheduling 3x2 hour sessions per week
@ £10 per session.
CJB proposed contacting local surgery about a ‘drop in’ “Stop smoking” session possibly on a Thursday.
A band (known to TH) used the hall for a practice session over the weekend; they might be able to provide entertainment on occasion. TH to follow up.
All Wales Convention has booked EB on Thursday 26th February. Youth drop in group to be rescheduled to the following night.

£150 has been raised for the making of the sign; £100 from Llanddwyn WI and £50 from DH. It was agreed to use slate for the sign. CJB to write to WI to thank members for the donation raised by carol singing in the village. TH suggested following up costing for the sign via undertakers in Llangefni. If possible, sign to be purchased and put up prior to 26th February.

6. Santes Dwynwen arrangements
It was agreed that decorating the hall with hearts etc be scheduled for afternoon of Friday 23rd January. Various items have been donated by the British Heart Foundation shop in Bangor for use in the hall or for raffle.
7. Funding applications
a) Tidy Towns – waste bins and other items
b) Cymorth – decoration of waste bins by primary school children. Dance workshop for young people (secondary age) both during half term.
These two grant applications are interdependent so it is hoped that CNC is successful in accessing money from both.
8. Youth Volunteer Group
Fourteen of the above group went to Conwy Centre as a reward for volunteering. Good reports were made about the participants and they came home very tired! Some photos were taken by DH and these might be available for the website.
