2. Matters arising from minutes of last general meeting

4. Booking diary; education tutorial group to meet 2x3hr sessions
9. AOB
(i) Youth service has paid £53.97 for refilling fire extinguisher and mileage @ 40p per mile
(vi) Age Concern to provide cookery sessions for men for 10 weeks at a cost to be agreed

3. Finance update

KGB informed meeting of breakdown of £5 hall hire costs - £1 for heating /lighting; review of charges to be made at beginning of September. It was agreed that the charge is to be competitive in view of two other venues in the village will be available for hire soon.
It is hoped the heating fuel will last until March.

4. Parc Y Plant

All committee of PYP have seen lease and are happy with it. Community council/PJI queried insurance and risk assessment. Dwyran PYP insurance of £500 to be checked on.
CJB to contact Bethan Jukes re Marc Armitage and his assessment and advice re PYP, as funding cannot be sought until lease is signed by the three parties, Community Council, Prichard Jones trustees and PYP officers.

5. Eglwys Bach sign

The sign has been ordered from Inigo Jones at a cost of £387 + vat. It will weigh approx ½ cwt. Holes will be drilled prior to collection and the fixing will be decided upon by building sub committee.

5. All Wales Convention
Arrangements for the above on Thursday 26th February 6.30 – 8.30pm are in hand by Quadrant. A request has been made for Welsh biscuits to be provided for refreshments and Welsh water for the panel. A charge of £1.50 per head can be made for EB to provide. It was suggested approaching Dwyran bakery for costing of Welsh biscuits. Peter Rogers to be approached by Quadrant for chairing the meeting.
6. Funding applications
a) Tidy Towns – CJB to write to Community council with pictures of waste bins to ask for support and check with wording of “adoption” in conditions laid down by Keep Wales Tidy.
b) Cymorth – Art/craft workshop to be held on Tuesday afternoon in half term and dance workshop to be held on Wednesday afternoon; any shortfall in fees to be met by Sports Council funds.
7. Youth Volunteer Group
Next meeting on Thursday 12th Feb to include Gareth Owen from Tidy Towns, Robin Jones from DofE and Simon Jones, Sports Development. Young people with £6 for the handbook to be registered. CNC is paying £5 towards each handbook from Sports Council monies.
8. AOB
(i) RR spoke with Alison Williams Community Police re £400 money paid to Aberffraw. It was suggested that a “wii” to be paid for by housing or police with other items specifically for the girls
(ii) A cctv cameral to be installed within the porch area of the building for better security; a wide angle lens and DVD recorder with a monitor in the kitchen suggested
(iii) RR approached re use of Pen Lon football field to be available for rounders matches; his contact details to be forwarded to Becky Smith who is hoping to set up rounders teams within the area. EB to be used for indoor training and presentation evenings etc
(iv) An allotments group has been set up with a view to making allotments available for local people. The area set aside by CC at the end of the playing field. It was agreed that the allotments group to come under the umbrella of CNC to facilitate funding applications and admin.
