Table top sale to be rescheduled sometime during the term for fundraising.
LJ proposed a prize bingo where children could take part to fundraise specifically
for BR.
5. Bingo
LJ reported that Bingo is going well with £100 profit each week. It was suggested that £10 be kept aside each week for a special bumper prize at Christmas. The new machine is working well. Raffle prizes can be bought as and when.

b) Computer course: to be set up in October; expenses to be paid from Older

format once a month to encourage new members.
7. Public meeting
This has been called
by the Police to take place on Wednesday 20th August. It is anticipated that
the new beat officer will be introduced to the community.
It was reported that a group of young people attending bingo help to clear
away after the sessions. Also during the holiday playscheme, the secondary
age youngsters helped with planting up the raised beds to the side of EB.
8. Watkin Jones Funding Application
The application for the signage is to be in by Monday 25th August. Siobhan Webster has been approached to quote for pictures as her part of the project.
9. Activities
a) The holiday playscheme is now half way through with two more weeks to run. RR queried the advertising for the playscheme as there were some people he had spoken with who knew nothing of it. He was advised that information was sent to primary schools in Newborough, Dwyran, Llangaffo and Bodorgan, and secondary pupils in Newborough had received it when they got off the bus. It is also advertised weekly in Holyhead and Anglesey Mail and on posters in the usual venues.
b) Funding for After School Clubs finishes at the end of December. It is proposed to approach Children in Need whether the funds could be used to provide specific activities provided by professionals. TH to ask LW re sessions; a Welsh speaker is more appropriate.
c) The Youth Service confirmed Monday night for the weekly session would be better as they have taken on staff who are not as experienced as the Youth leader from Llanddaniel who can only attend on a Monday.
d) It was felt that the drop in group organised by CN on a Tuesday may need to be rescheduled to a Thursday evening; TH to confirm with DH.
10. Garden Opening
Details of the planning
for this occasion on September 27th yet to be finalised.
The seats, shed and cross to be in place by that date. £13k still outstanding

with half proceeds to Air Ambulance and EB. Tickets and posters to be prepared
with tickets at £3 bought beforehand or £4 on the door. People
