The conversion, extension and refurbishment of the former St Thomas's Mission Church is currently underway in Niwbwrch to create a multi-functional community centre. Upon completion in the Autumn, there will be plenty of exciting and fun activities taking place on a weekly basis for all ages, backgrounds and interests.

Activities for children and young people include a fully supervised parent/toddler group, after-school club, youth club and a Saturday workshop. For adults, there will be computer and Welsh classes for beginners, indoor bowls, yoga sessions, drop in sessions by the Citizens Advice Bureau, bingo, dancing, cinema and lunchtime drop in café.

The Centre will also provide a great venue for parties, discos, workshops and exhibitions.

Funding for the centre was provided by the Welsh Assembly Government, Menter Mon, Medrwn Môn, Sports Council for Wales and Children In Need.
